FX July Luncheon

How to Talk About Yourself and Your Business So People Listen (and You Get Clients)

There are so many times you need to have a good TMAY (Tell Me About Yourself), or elevator speech! It might be when you’re at a networking event, being connected to someone by a colleague, reaching out to a prospect, or introducing yourself to a group. Sometimes we even avoid making connections because we’re just unsure of what to say about ourselves. And even if you feel pretty confident about your TMAY, perhaps you sense it’s not landing in such a way to expand your visibility and opportunities.

Imagine what it could mean to increase your referrals and help other people bring you ideal prospects. Join us on Friday, July 30th, when Kathryn Lorenzen, Career Coach, gives us immediately usable tips and tools to deconstruct and reconstruct our TMAYs – so we can get into conversation with people who are interested and need our services.

Come prepared with your own TMAY in case you’d like an opportunity to be coached in a live “hot seat.”

About the Presenter: Kathryn Lorenzen is a full-time Career Coach and a Senior Recruiting Consultant to LandaJob Marketing, Creative, & Digital Talent. With a deeper background in marketing and advertising, both agency and corporate, Kathryn has worked with freelancers and creatives for over 35 years. Since starting with LandaJob in the late 1990s, Kathryn has united over 500 people with their jobs and coached more than 250 people through career transition. She earned her coaching credential through Rockhurst University and is a past president of the Association of Career Professionals International-Kansas City.
