Freelancer Lifeline is a resource destination where FX members can find grant opportunities, loan information, digital events, creative tools, and more. We hope it serves as a source of comfort, inspiration, and support as we navigate the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic together.
March showers bring power hours. Your Freelance Exchange friends will be sharing a cup of Joe (or other favorite beverage) as we network in the morning at Java Garage. Come out and share your latest success story with friends, new and old.
Members and nonmembers are welcome. Free to attend, but please RSVP so we know who will be there!
In January, we will start the year in Overland Park at a coworking space: Aspiria NOW. As a special treat, we will have our very own FX member Maegan Kabel on hand to update your headshot. Her superpower is releasing your personality via the camera. We can’t wait to see her in action and to share networking time with you!
Members and non are welcome. Headshot photos require pre-registration and a $10 fee. Free to attend for the networking, but please RSVP so we know how much coffee to make!
With the FX of KC Portfolio Showcase right around the corner, FX founder and freelance rockstar Julie Cortés will provide tips and techniques to put your best foot forward to ensure you get noticed and remembered. Pictures of past events will be shared for inspiration. Be sure to bring your questions! Presentation will be recorded, and the replay link will be sent out if you can’t join live. Members and nonmembers are welcome. Contact [email protected] with any questions.
