Money Talks & So Should Freelancers with Jenn Uhen of The Pledgettes
As freelancers, not only do we spend time on sharing our expertise with our clients but we also need to spend time with the money.
Join us for this interactive workshop of freelancers talking about money led by Jenn Uhen of The Pledgettes. Jenn recently spoke at Freelance Business Week and believes that everyone has something to learn and everyone has something to share.
Come ready for safe, positive money conversations around financial apps, attitudes about money, pricing, and talking money with your clients/peers/Financial A-Team.
Jenn will also share tips and tools around:
Evolving Your Money Mindset (we’ll dig into how our money narratives show up in our business)
Setting + Achieving Big Financial Goals (let’s clarify and celebrate them)
Building Your Financial A-Team (this goes beyond outsourcing your finances)
Join us for a town hall meeting to discuss the state of the club and its plans moving forward. This will be a roundtable discussion, so come ready to chat. We welcome your ideas and comments.
Increasing the Probability of Success through Selling & Serving
Join us for a virtual happy hour on Thursday, March 11th, 5 – 7 p.m. Grab a drink and join us on Zoom.
You’re good at your craft and you love what you do. But you don’t like talking about yourself or your service, thinking selling is no fun and fearing rejection. So stop selling! At this event, we’ll discuss how you can grow your business by asking the right questions, learning what people really need, and making a difference for them. You’ll also learn how to ask for referrals from those you’ve already worked with and how to strengthen relationships with ongoing clients.
This FX Happy Hour will be interactive, so bring your questions and be ready to learn how you can stop selling to people—and start serving them instead.
Open to members and non.
Free to attend.
Register on Eventbrite ahead of time in order to get the Zoom link.
