With over two decades of experience in design and art direction for clients ranging from boutique to corporate, I draw on my passion for design to deliver inspired, relevant, refined solutions for diverse and complex client needs in print, packaging and digital arenas.

Through my in-house work and as an independent designer, I’ve collaborated with celebrated artists and photographers, editors and individuals on a multitude of projects including novelty kits and recipe decks, invitations and announcements, cookbooks, retail catalogs, websites and logos.

The artfully arranged page, a cleverly constructed package, a well-conceived and beautifully composed image and the unexpected emotion inspired by a great logo are what inspire me to do the work I do. I hope we can create something that delights.

In addition to my design work, I also create fine art and photography. Please visit my website - www.elizabullock.com - to see samples of both my design and fine art work.

Business of Books Logo Business of Books Logo
I designed this logo and the accompanying student workbook for a consulting duo who help "burgeoning authors craft a winning proposal, build their platform, choose the right publishing route, and realize their literary dreams." The logo evokes the aspirational goals of their mission.
Gardeners Eden Catalogs Gardeners Eden Catalogs
This project began as a catalog re-designand developed into a long-term design and art directing relationship with the parent company, Williams-Sonoma. My responsibilities on this project included: • attending sales meetings to decide the scope of products that would be included in each seasonal catalog • developing spread stories for selected products • laying out spreads to accommodate product images and informational text • scouting and selecting photographers and stylists to work with for product photography • reviewing and selecting appropriate locations for photoshoots • working with sales team, photographer and stylist on location during photo shoots to realize our creative vision • creating print-ready, digital files to be sent to production
The Grip Project Logo The Grip Project Logo
I designed this logo for an installation artist's project in which she collected what she called "grips". She collected impressions of people's hands in porcelain clay for public installations. Community members would squeeze cylinders of clay which would then be fired and arranged in patterns in public spaces. Then the "grips" would be given back to the community.
Twisted X Twisted X
I handle much of the design work for this footwear company based in Texas. Twisted X delivers handcrafted, specially designed comfortable footwear for men, women and children. Initially focused on core western boot styles, the company has recently added an extensive line of comfort casual footwear, work footwear, outdoor footwear and licensed accessories to its portfolio. I have design their new, soon-to-be-launched logo, many ads published in trade and retail magazines, in-store displays and catalogs.
What a Little Bird Told Me Website What a Little Bird Told Me Website
This client, a child development expert, wanted a simple website to showcase her services and credentials. Her warm, Montessori-based approach warranted a soft, approachable design for the website. View the site here - http://www.whatalittlebirdytoldme.com
