The Freelance Exchange of Kansas City is a nonprofit professional organization open to everyone who is self-employed (full-time or part-time) in the advertising/marketing industry. Professional art directors, graphic designers, copywriters, proofreaders, photographers, illustrators, account coordinators, web/interactive developers, public relations/media specialists and others in related disciplines who work for themselves with no more than two additional employees or partners are eligible to become members and encouraged to join and to become active participants. If you have more than three people in your business, you qualify for Associate Membership.
All members are entitled to all the rights, privileges and responsibilities of full membership, including:
• The right to serve on the Board of Directors
• Free or discounted entry to programs and events
• A free listing in the directory and on the website
• Regular club communications

* Applies to two or three individuals who are the sole employees/partners of a small business.
AGREEMENT
I would like to become an active member of The Freelance Exchange of Kansas City, Kansas City’s only professional organization for advertising/marketing freelance specialists, and hereby submit my application for review by the Board of Directors. By signing this application, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to abide by the organization’s mission and bylaws. Additionally, I understand that intentional acts against these bylaws—including, but not limited to: use of information obtained through the organization to compete with other members, solicitation of business from clients of other members, or sending unwanted spam—may result in membership termination and forfeiture of my membership dues.
